Bright and timeless images. (and crosswalks!) That’s what Brianna wanted for her engagement session with Joe, and I think we accomplished exactly that! Brianna and Joe are getting married in May at The Atrium in downtown Buffalo. They wanted to have engagement photos with a similar look to what their wedding photos will have, so we spent the second half of their session at Delaware Park, where we’ll revisit in a few months. Using your engagement session to test out your wedding portrait location is a great way to make sure you love the spot while there’s still time to plan!
When I was first learning about their relationship at our initial meeting, I knew this session was going to be filled with such sweet moments. I remember asking Brianna how she knew Joe was the one, to which she replied telling me how he is always there for her, how well taken care of she feels with him, and how he’s always been the most loving person.. focused on everyone else before himself. These meaningful words then led me to understand the type of emotion I wanted to bring out in their images. Capturing authentic connection is number one when I have a couple in front of my camera, and understanding the deep feelings you have for one another helps me really tune in to that connection!
I’m so excited for the time I’ll have to spend with Brianna and Joe at their wedding, documenting so many meaningful moments like these, and so many more with their families and friends they’ve told me mean so much to them. It’s going to be such a special day!!
