Colorful Summer Wedding at The Legacy in Hamburg, NY

What can I say about Sydney & Nate’s wedding day besides, it was an absolute dream. In all honesty, my entire time working with Sydney & Nate has been. From flying me out to Florida for their engagement session, to their colorful wedding day in WNY at The Legacy, it has been an absolute honor. I’ve been able to cross so many things off my photographer bucket list because of them, and I wish we could do it all over again every year.

I’ve been anticipating their day since our first phone call when Syd told me the vision she had. After getting to know her some, the colorful florals, disco balls, and retro photobooth bus were all such perfect ways to bring her personality into the day. Even the detail on her dress just screams Sydney! Every detail was so carefully planned and it came together in such a seamless way.

As I began to meet their friends and families that morning, the love for Sydney and Nate filled the entire space. They shared the sweetest first look and private vows, which in my opinion is the best way to begin a wedding day together. I truly enjoy having the opportunity to hear a couple express their love and their dedication to each other before anything else. 

The love of the day only continued to grow stronger throughout the reception with speeches given by members of the wedding party and then Syd’s Dad. His speech was so touching and made it so obvious the bond they share is something very special. Their formal dance was so fun and another way they brought the connection they share into the day .. which they also used to open the dance floor! See that in the photos below .. it was the perfect transition! Also can we talk about how Sydney and Nate were the life of the party on the dancefloor?! I’m not exaggerating when I say it was one of the liveliest parties I’ve seen!
