Elegant Countryside Wedding at Wren’s Roost Barn

Every single aspect of Katya and Joe’s wedding reflected who they are in such a beautifully unique way. There wasn’t one piece of the day that didn’t have their special touch, or that hadn’t flowed seamlessly with the rest. It was such a meaningful and memorable day that I can’t wait to share with you all now.

Katya got in her dress in the loft of Wren’s Roost Barn. I had come up from taking some photos of Joe and I swear it looked like a real life princess was sitting at the mirror in the most elegant way. From then on, the photogenic moments never stopped. The only thought going through my mind in the getting ready space was just how perfect her dress fit the style of the day, and how stunning she was. The sweetest first look followed, where Katya and Joe shared several quiet moments together before beginning their portraits. It absolutely set the mood for the day, with how much love could be felt between them.

The incredible photo opportunities around the venue at Wren’s Roost do not stop, with my personal favorite being anything where we could show off the view of the surrounding hills. Their ceremony was filled with so much emotion, particularly their vows. There was such incredible effort put into every word, and I don’t think there was a dry eye to be found. The same could be said for every toast that was given, the personal thank you notes they wrote for every single guest, and their first song, which was a duet they performed for their guests to start off the reception (& can I just say – WOW). They kicked off the final portion of their reception with just as much personality by surprising their guests with an outfit change, which wrapped up the night in such a fun way!

I could go on for hours about how special this day was, but I’ll leave it to the photos to tell the rest. I am so grateful to Katya & Joe for allowing me to have a glimpse into the love that you two share, and I truly hope to have the chance to capture more memories for you in the future!
