George Eastman Museum Engagement Session

A beautiful evening in downtown Rochester with a stunning view and a couple so much in love .. OH! and a SURPRISE that I didn’t even know I was capturing!! This session with Jill and Louis is one for the books.

Jill reached out to me only a week after her and Louis got engaged, and can I say how much I appreciate a type-A bride?! She was so prepared that we had our call before she even had her venue secured .. which is such an honor to be thought of so early in the process! We hit it off so well on that call and her vision of rooftop portraits overlooking downtown Buffalo for their wedding day had me beaming! While their wedding day celebration will be held in Buffalo where their families live, they are currently in Rochester, so that’s where we met for their engagement photos.

Our first location was right off the water downtown, and while I just thought it was a gorgeous location, Jill told me she actually walks that path every day on her lunch break! Once I heard that I knew it was a must as it’s such a favorite spot of hers. For the second half of the session we met at the George Eastman Museum and we couldn’t have timed it better! The sunset glow hits the garden perfectly and provided the perfect backdrop for some surprise photos .. that I didn’t even know I was taking!!

Jill and Louis’ connection is truly something special and I’m honored to capture that love again on their wedding day in September!
