Meet Rebecca & Paul! Rebecca reached out to me after being engaged for less than a week! I love when I have the opportunity to chat with recently engaged couples because the excitement is still there, and it really shows through in our conversation! Rebecca had mentioned that she was actually referred by Katie, one of my very first brides! (See Katie & Peter’s Wedding)
It means so much to me when I hear that a past bride loved her experience enough to send her friends over to me. It really shows their trust that I will take such great care of them too! The funny part was that Rebecca & Paul actually (unintentionally) have the same wedding date as Katie & Peter! Not only that, but ironically, I met Rebecca & Paul at the same park on almost the same date as Katie & Peter too! (& yes, I definitely took advantage of using that as my ice breaker when I met them 😉 )
Rebecca went on to say that they were getting married at The Timberlodge in the Fall. I don’t think I could have been more excited! At that point I had only had The Timberlodge on my imaginary list of venues I had been dying to shoot at, but hadn’t had the chance yet. I absolutely love rustic weddings so needless to say, I’m SO excited about this one!
I can’t say enough about how great Rebecca has been to work with! When I say I love organized brides, Rebecca is THAT. BRIDE. She has been so ahead of the game when it comes to planning, and that makes my life SO easy. It helps me to know that I can be well prepared to capture every little detail because we’ve had the time to discuss all of it! I felt like I had already known her somewhat through meeting on a video call before they booked, but the engagement session allowed me to finally meet Paul too! These two are such a sweet couple, and weren’t afraid to try anything I asked! My main goal during an engagement session is to take a couple from nervous being in front of the camera to “That was actually pretty fun!” and I think that was definitely a success here!
Enjoy these images from my time with Rebecca & Paul, at locations in Knox Farm that I’ve never used before! & stay tuned for their wedding in October, that I know you won’t want to miss!!
