Including an ice cream stop into Lyndzi & Sam’s engagement session was a no brainer. We originally had plans to meet for their consultation at Lake Effect in Lockport because of their love for ice cream, and when I found out that wasn’t even open for the day yet (duh Ondraea – maybe check first 😂), they recommended this amazing coffee shop, Scripts. (If you’re in that area – you NEED to try it.) So since the ice cream didn’t work out initially, when they told me they wanted to take their photos in Olcott I knew we had to make ice cream a part of their session.
This was just the start of what was such a fun session. I felt like I didn’t have to do any work to bring out the joy these two share. They made each other, and me, laugh the entire time and from there I was just telling them how to hold on to each other and snapping away! I had the best time with them and I know this is only going to continue on their wedding day at Spring Lake Winery next October!
We had the most ideal summer weather followed by the warmest golden hour, which was shining through the pines just right as you can see for the second half of this post! I hadn’t ever photographed in Olcott before professionally, but I now know that it holds some amazing locations for photos and will absolutely be here again!
I’m so happy that Lyndzi & Sam gave me the honor of capturing their love story – and I’m so excited to meet again to celebrate next year!!
