I met Katya & Joe in Rochester for their engagement session on what was supposed to be a very rainy evening. I don’t know how it happens, and I’m not going to question it but just an hour before their session, the forecast went from 60% rain for the entire session, to 0% rain, and we didn’t get one drop! We chose George Eastman to start the session due to what we thought the weather had in store for us because of the many covered areas, but it turned out to be such a beautiful location regardless! We also utilized Memorial Art Gallery for the second part of their session, which was another spot filled with amazing portrait opportunities!
Katya and Joe were so wonderful to work with. They had me laughing our entire time together, and I love that you can feel that joy in their images. There’s nothing better than when my couples feel so comfortable working with me that they bring their own personalities into the prompts I give. Katya and Joe brought so much of that and it made my job so much easier to capture who they truly are together! I can’t wait for their wedding day in September when I have the opportunity to do it all over again!
