My last wedding of 2021 is in the books, and it’s a special one! I had the opportunity this past Saturday to end my wedding session the same way that I started it – by photographing a cousin’s wedding! Not only that, but at the same time marking off another bucket list item for my business – photographing a wedding at The Gallagher barn venue in Medina! Marae is my cousin on my Mom’s side, and Saturday she finally married her high school sweetheart after 10 years of dating! I can’t say enough how perfect this wedding was, from the colors, to the barn venue, to Trevor’s Chevy that I was lucky enough to pose him & his bride with! It was literally such a perfect way to end the year!
Marae, Trevor, and everyone else in the wedding, started the day off by getting ready in the house that’s located right on The Gallagher property. Wedding venues that have a spot for everyone to get ready in the morning are the best, because it’s so convenient! It also gives you the most value for your money with your wedding photography, because you don’t spend coverage time driving! The guys and girls were able to get ready on separate floors of the house, so nobody say each other. The house had the most beautiful set of tall windows which were perfect for Marae’s bridal portraits!
Once everyone was ready, they walked right over to the barn for the Ceremony. It was so nice to have this indoor space to use, because that was the first day we had gotten snow in Buffalo. Needless to say, everyone was thankful for the heaters during the ceremony! I absolutely loved the strings lights they had draping from the ceiling, that centered perfectly over the aisle! Trevor’s reaction was so sweet when he saw Marae too!
After the ceremony we took advantage of the beautiful portrait locations on the property, and as I mentioned, Trevor’s truck! Between that and the fall colored florals that the girls had, the photos that came from this day were some of my favorites of all time! I really hope I have the chance the return to this venue in the future, to photograph more couples! It was definitely one of my favorites!
Thank you so much Marae & Trevor for allowing me to capture this special day for you two, & Congratulations!!
