Spring Engagement Session | Emily & Brandon

Meet Emily & Brandon! Emily had reached out to me after being engaged for only one week!! She had said that she saw her close friend Grace’s engagement photos that I took, and when she got engaged herself, she thought of me right away! I think I speak for a lot of photographers when I say, it is an absolute honor to be thought of so soon after a proposal!

Within just 24hrs, Emily & Brandon had booked their wedding date for this October, and then we went straight to planning their engagement session! With it being Spring, I mentioned that the Cherry Blossoms were going to be in bloom, and Emily loved that idea. So we set the date for the usual peak blooming time of the first weekend in May… and then they peaked THREE WEEKS EARLY!! Once I saw everyone posting pictures of the trees, I immediately sent Emily an email to see if they wanted to move their session up, and we’re so fortunate that they were able to! Emily got her photos in the Cherry Blossoms, and although it was still very chilly for their sunrise session, I think we made the right choice!

I could tell right away that these two were going to be so easy to work with, because they’re such an easy-going, sweet couple. We got some absolutely beautiful images, and I can’t wait to capture more on their wedding day! I’m so happy that I was able to photograph Emily & Brandon with such a beautiful background, and soon enough I’ll get to do it again at their Botanical Gardens wedding in the Fall!

I deeply believe that the experience you have with your wedding photographer can make or break how you feel about your images. Since 2018, I have been making sure my clients not only get the images that they want, but that they feel well taken care of throughout the process as well.
