This session has my whole heart. For those of you that don’t know, I grew up in the small farm town that is Sanborn, Ny. It is absolutely the epitome of a small town (it’s actually a Hamlet), and I get excited at any chance I get to take a ride out there…especially on a warm summer night. Enter, Hallie and Dan’s engagement session.
When Hallie and Dan first inquired, I recognized both of their names instantly. Dan was good friends with my cousin growing up, and I played high school tennis with two of Hallie’s cousins! When they told me about the vision they had for their wedding day.. well let’s just say I’ve been so eager for that day ever since. A Fall wedding with portraits at Dan’s family’s pumpkin patch and possibly tractor transportation?? I’m hooked! It got even better when they told me they possibly had access to an old truck that we could use for their engagement session… but I had no idea it would be this good. I’m just obsessed with everything from their session.. from the fact that they are just the most incredibly kind people, to the goodest boy – their dog Sawyer, to the wheat field I had no idea we’d be using, to their outfits.. I mean they just killed it! 😍
I’m so glad they decided to bring Sawyer along for the full session too, which was made possibly by their two incredible friends/wedding party members. Bringing someone along to help is the best way to incorporate your furbaby into your session, while still being able to have photos alone! This allowed us to have so much variety in their session.
After spending this time together for their engagement photos, I can hardly wait for next Fall when I get to hang out with them all day!
See more of my work here!
