The style of Lydia and Miles’ wedding day still has me in awe. It was modern elegance throughout with a vibrant pop of color. From my time spent with Miles and Lydia during their downtown Buffalo engagement session last year, I should expect nothing less. Style is something I knew they had from the outfits they put together then, and that continued into every area of their wedding day. Even the portrait location at AKG Art Museum matched so well with the timeless feel that Lydia mentioned she loved way back on her consultation call. The bold contrast of the guys in all black against white and various shades of pink was such a stunning color scheme and I’m so impressed by its uniqueness. (Also can we talk about how Lydia’s dress looked as if it was MADE for her?!)
Beyond the style of their day, they also had the most love surrounding them from the very start. From their friends and family that filled the wedding party, to the most touching formal dances at their reception, the day was filled with either laughter or the sweetest moments from start to finish. One of the most special parts of the day I think was Lydia’s Mom dedicating her time to help with the wedding and assist in creating ALL of the florals for their wedding day as she did for her own. It’s amazing to me that they’ll always have that connection together to such an important day. Miles and his Mom also shared some truly touching moments throughout the day, one of them shown below, that was captured during their mother-son dance is one you definitely want to keep scrolling to see.
Lydia and Miles – It’s been such a pleasure to be a part of these special moments with you two, and I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity! Here’s to hoping there’s many more to come!!
