A Mid-May Wedding of Vibrant Spring Colors, at Bear Ridge Destination

Kelly & Kurt were the first couple to book with me for my 2025 wedding season ..back in 2023 – so I’ve been anticipating their day for quite some time! I heard about the vision Kelly had for their colorful Spring day at Bear Ridge and it had me immediately hooked along with how well our call went overall! I remember it being such an exciting time for me as it is each time I get off the phone with couples that I am truly the best fit with. We met together at the same Starbucks to lock in the final details the month prior to their big day, as we did to lock in their date way back in 2023.

Their vendor team they assembled was incredible, to say the least. I was so eager to work with everyone featured here, as I knew the great work they are all known for. ANY of these vendors listed at the bottom of this post, I would recommend 100 times over. I especially can’t say enough about how seamless the experience was working with the planning/coordination team of WE Weddings!

The vision Kelly had for her color palette and florals is something straight out of a DREAM. Major props to Beyond The Barnyard Flower Co was absolutely killing it with her true skill for what she does, and being such a sweet human. Kelly put so much work into ensuring the colors of the bridesmaids dresses and men’s attire went together perfectly – and I can’t say enough about how it all turned out. Even the tiniest details of their “seeding” chart, leaving each guest with flower seeds to grow at home, and the intricately designed florals on cookies at the reception to match the day, made by Paula Ford. It was all so well executed and thoughtful.

When it comes to their family that surrounded them on the day, let’s just say this is one tight-knit crew. I asked them beforehand, who the most important people were (besides each other) on their day, and I was told about their family members, but specifically their nieces and nephews. It was very important to Kelly & Kurt to include them in as many ways as they could. Kelly had her niece as a bridesmaid, and some of their nephews as ring bearers while another read during their ceremony. Besides that – I think they may have just brought the most energy of anyone to the dancefloor!

I’m so honored to have been invited in to witness this celebration of Kelly & Kurt’s love for one another, and I hope you all enjoy reliving it here through these images!
Congratulations Kelly & Kurt!!
