Woodlawn Beach Engagement Session

Kelli and Brian’s engagement session is such a special one for me! I was referred to Kelli through her sister Katie, who’s wedding was actually my second ever, back in 2020! (View that wedding at The Saturn Club HERE) Referrals are my favorite way to book weddings as it means I was able to make my couple’s experience so enjoyable that they want their family or friends to have that experience as well, and that’s what’s most important to me. I’m so grateful to have the chance to work with Kelli and Brian also, because they are both active members of the US military! I have such respect for their line of work, and loved being able to learn more about what they do during our time together.

One of the main reasons I include engagement sessions in my wedding collections is because it’s so important to me that my couples and myself are able to get to know each other ahead of me walking into their wedding day, pointing a camera at them all day. In this case, that led me to learn how much FUN Kelli and Brian are. Kelli’s laugh is absolutely contagious and their love for one another and being present in each other’s company was so apparent from the very start of this session. That’s something I cannot wait to experience again on their wedding day in September. Once you scroll through this post, I have no doubt you’ll be able to feel that energy through their images.

We began their session at such a photogenic area of downtown Buffalo – Niagara Square, and followed it up with one of my all time favorite locations in WNY – Woodlawn Beach. These locations are a perfect combination for a light and airy vibe, and so close to each other! These two were up for anything I asked them to do which I’m so thankful for as it made for some amazing photos. Keep scrolling to enjoy their session, and stay tuned for more from their wedding in September!
